Born in Barcelona, Carles trained in graphic design at the Elisava School. In 1994 he created his own graphic design studio working for clients such as Adidas, New Balance, Christian Dior, Unilever and Reckit Benckiser.

In 1998 he started advertising as Art Director at Y&R and in 2000 at JWT until he became Creative Director in 2004.

Between 1997 and 2000 he made his professional career compatible by giving design and publicity classes at the Elisava school.

In 2014 he joined Grey Group in Latin America as Creative General Director first in Peru and then in Chile in 2015 with the mission to lead the creative integration of the agency in Gray's network. Under his command, Grey Chile climbed from 32th to 7th place on the Grey Global Creative Ranking, won critical new accounts such as Coca-Cola, SAB Miller, Audi, Pfizer, Sky Airlines, and HDI Insurance and won the office's first Lions in more than a decade at Cannes Lions 2015 and 2017. 

Carles is now a Executive Creative Director at Grey and sits in Singapore, where he oversees all creative work done for P&G, Dulux, Singapore Government, Menarini, Marigold and Volvo.

Honoured in being part of various Juries like: The One Show, London International Awards, New York Festival, Fiap, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and member of the Global Creative Council in Grey.

His work has earned him more than 90 recognitions in the most prestigious advertising festivals including 12 awards at Cannes Lions, 4 Golds at the The One Show and other recognitions from D&AD, The One Show, Eurobest, El Sol —including 6 Grand Prix— Fiap, New York Festival, Ojo de Iberoamérica and Achap.
